Respected physician, Dr. Jerome Abrams, celebrates the opening of his newest family medicine office

After completing his studies to earn his Doctor of Medicine from Temple University School of Medicine, Dr. Jerome Abrams spent the following three years completing his residency in Family Medicine at Baltimore's Franklin Square Hospital. It was there that Dr. Jerome Abrams fell in love with the idea of helping other families, similar to his own, lead healthier and better lives. He proceeded to work in Delaware over the next 30+ years, helping to found Dover Family Physicians, and took part in numerous medical committees, associations, and projects. His overall goal has always been to get to know his patients, so he can better provide for their needs, while working to improve the medical field.

Recently, Dr. Jerome Abrams opened his newest medical practice, Family Medicine Smyrna-Clayton, also in Delaware. He's very excited about the prospect of having a new set of patients to learn about and assist with their medical needs.

“I'm just so glad that I get the chance to be there for people when they most need it, and to guide them towards healthier lifestyles. I really look forward to working in Delaware for many years to come.”

The practice will offer various services that people have come to expect from a family doctor, such as physicals, full exams, and pediatric care. But there are a few other additions on his list of services that are a little more specific, like allergy testing and life counseling. Of course, to stay at the cutting edge of the field and provide patients with faster service than ever, there is a laboratory on-site. This means patients will no longer have to wait weeks for their test results to come back. Dr. Jerome Abrams praises this addition to the practice for its ability to get people the answers they need more effectively so they may start treatment more quickly.

The new office will be open Monday through Friday, closing early on Wednesday and Thursday, and may be reached via telephone for information and scheduling. When questioned, Dr. Jerome Abrams noted that he's very excited about these new opportunities and hopes to make a lasting impact through this new medical center.
