Deborah Burzotta’s commitment to the pharmaceutical industry expands beyond her professional career as an Area Operations Manager; she also serves as a volunteer pharmacist in her spare time. Since 2011, Deborah Burzotta has been a volunteer pharmacist for the Good Samaritan Health Center of Cobb. She enjoys working in this role, as she is able to provide comprehensive health care services to underserved populations.

The Good Samaritan Health Center of Cobb, one Deborah Burzotta is proud to associate with, is a non-profit health care center based in Marietta, Georgia. It provides a range of medical, dental, prescriptions, and social services to the residents of the Greater Atlanta Area. The Good Samaritan Health Center of Cobb focuses on patients who don’t have health insurance, or are unable to afford health care. The center integrates principles of the Christian faith in its services, and emphasizes helping those in need.

For Deborah Burzotta, being able to volunteer her services and time to the Good Samaritan Health Center of Cobb was an exciting prospect. She explains, “For a while, I had felt like I wanted to give back in my profession. When I learned about this opportunity, I was immediately interested.” Deborah Burzotta is proud to announce her two year anniversary of working with the center, and says, “It’s something that I love doing. I think it’s really important to help people who can’t afford health insurance.”

The position is a rewarding one. I look forward to going there and assisting in any capacity that a pharmacist is needed.

Given Deborah Burzotta’s impressive career in pharmacy, her commitment to this position is admirable. In addition to her job, Deborah Burzotta also volunteers with her church, North Point Community Church. She has a busy schedule with work and community service, but Deborah Burzotta always manages to make time for all of her commitments.

According to Deborah Burzotta, volunteerism will always be an important part of her life. She thoroughly enjoys using her talents and passion to help others, she says. She plans to continue pursuing philanthropic efforts well into the future. Deborah Burzotta believes all people should use his or her talents and success for the greater good of mankind.
