Baltimore native Victor Loukas decided to pursue a career in market research as a senior in high school after receiving advice from his high school guidance counselor. He had never heard of market research, but was intrigued by the idea because it combines analytical and creative tasks. He received his Bachelor’s of Science in marketing from New York University, and was hooked on the idea of conducting market research studies and experiments. He then interned with local market research firms in the New York City area, and then completed his master’s degree in market research at the City University of New York. After graduating, he was looking for a change, so he moved to northern California, which is a hotbed of market research firms.
Victor Loukas fell in love with the beautiful weather and more laid back lifestyle in California, and soon settled down with his wife in the Bay Area. Over the past decade, he has worked for firms in Oakland and San Francisco, and is currently based out of San Jose, California. He has experience in both qualitative and quantitative research, but is currently specializing in quantitative research with an emphasis on conducting surveys and other types of research via the internet and mobile phones.
His hobbies outside of work include watching and discussing films, as well as going to sports games. He particularly enjoys football and is a Baltimore Ravens fan. He also has been lucky enough to travel in his career, and is passionate about continuing to explore the globe in a continued effort to expand his horizons and see as much of the world as possible.
Victor Loukas currently lives with his wife and their two year old daughter and is dedicated to improving as a person, both professionally and in his home life, to ensure his family receives everything that they will ever need. In the future, he hopes to head up his own market research firm in northern California, providing his services directly to the client, this ensuring that all of their marketing needs are met.
