Twenty-Five Years of Honorable Service Completed by Kirk Hogan Baur

Kirk Hogan Baur spent a total of 25 years serving with the United States Air Force. He continues to devote his services to helping military members and civilians. Kirk Hogan Baur is a mentor and volunteer.

 
If there is one thing to be said about Kirk Hogan Baur it is that he has spent years devoting his time and energy for the benefit of others. For a quarter century, Kirk Hogan Baur put his life on the line to protect his fellow countrymen and serve the needs of his country. He knows what it means to serve others honorably. Through his years of service, Kirk Hogan Baur was awarded a number of decorations and medals.

In 1988, Kirk Hogan Baur was commissioned into the United States Air Force. Serving the military taught Kirk Hogan Baur many things including the financial difficulties faced by military members and their families. He would later make it a personal mission to help military members and their families understand finances in order to avoid the pain many servicemen experience with a financial crisis.

Through his 25 years of service, Kirk Hogan Baur’s station changed as he climbed ranks. When his years of service were over, Kirk Hogan Baur had obtained the rank of Lt. Colonel. He had also been awarded many medals for his service including the Airman’s Medal for Heroism. Kirk Hogan Baur was awarded with two Meritorious Service medals, two Joint Service Commendation medals, and the Air Force Commendation and Achievement medals.

While Kirk Hogan Baur no longer directly serves the military, he helps a number of military families and civilians in his community. He works as a financial advisor and principal. For the last 16 years, he has finished in the top 20% of advisors. By putting the needs of his clients before his own, his honorable service continues today.

Kirk Hogan Baur helps save the lives of dozens of dogs as a volunteer pilot with Animal Rescue Flights. He transports animals from “kill” to “non-kill” shelters. Kirk Hogan Baur also mentors a new generation in leadership as an Eagle Scout mentor. As an Eagle Scout himself, he only mentors the young men who have earned the distinction of Eagle Scout, which is the highest ranking within the Boy Scout organization. Kirk Hogan Baur is proud to provide his volunteer and mentor services to enrich his community.
