The Health Ranger is the founder of the website Natural News. Natural News is a website dedicated to consumer health advocacy, and as an investigative journalist, The Health Ranger has used to the site to publish his findings.
Recently the Health Ranger founded the Forensics Food Laboratory in Texas. The Health Ranger is a trained lab technician, and has used the high powered digital microscope on site to investigate the molecular structure of various foods. He recently found success in the lab by discovery an unnatural strain of fiber in McDonald's Chicken McNuggets. Following this, the Health Ranger launched an in-depth investigation into the presence of blueberries in many breakfast cereals, including brands such as Target, General Mills, and Kellogg's. His findings were astounding. The Health Ranger discovered there were, in fact, no blueberries present in any of the cereals. Instead he found artificial colorings and sweeteners used to cover up the lack of fruit.
Realizing this was a common practice in the food industry, The Health Ranger has announced his own personal ban on all companies that use artificial food coloring in any of their products, and encourages others to do the same. Artificial food coloring is used to trick the consumer into believing they are eating something appealing and nutritious, when in fact they are just putting chemicals and sugar into their bodies. Hoping to build the presence of whole foods in food products, the Health Ranger believes the ban will send a message to these companies that health is just as important as sales, and the consumer is looking for more than just empty calories.
