Randy Dunnett started out his baseball career as a hard-throwing right hander. But even before he retired at the end of the 2001 season, he had found his true calling as a coach.

“I began my career as a private instructor at Jack Perconte Sports Academy in Naperville, IL, where I taught for four years,” Randy Dunnett recalls. That was back in 2000. He opened the Finish Strong Indoor Sportsplex in 2004, a multi-sport training facility specializing in baseball and soccer training. The Finish Strong Indoor Sportsplex boasts 32,000 square feet of cover training space and a full fitness training area. There’s a synthetic grass multi sport field and baseball infield with an instructional area and batting range.

Countless young ballplayers have benefitted from Randy Dunnett’s coaching. “I am a dedicated coach and mentor,” he says with justifiable pride. “We run a very strong program that focuses on providing the very best environment for young players to learn and play baseball.” He has coached thousands of athletes, ranging from youth to professionals. Dozens of Randy Dunnett’s young players have finished his high school program and gone on to play college baseball. Every year his program produces more success stories.

In 2011, Force Elite Baseball grew out of Finish Strong. Force Elite is a comprehensive developmental baseball program. “We also remember other equally significant details such as child development, competitive arena management, and player character building,” Randy Dunnett says.

Randy Dunnett retains a blazing fastball and a devastating curve, and keeps active as an amateur pitcher. “I have played men's baseball since 2006 in the Chicago Men's Senior Baseball League,” he says. And he was still good enough to play pro in 2007, when he made a short comeback as a member of the Schaumburg Flyers pitching staff in the Northern League. He retired for good after that season, but still takes to the mound. “I have played in several national baseball tournaments in Las Vegas, Nevada, Jupiter, Florida, and Phoenix , Arizona.”

Randy Dunnett finds a lot of satisfaction in helping up-and-coming ballplayers. With the best possible training and coaching, he wants Force Elite Baseball to give these players every opportunity to reach their athletic dreams.
