He is an Emmy Award winner who has been involved in such popular TV programs as Married With Children, and daytime dramas like One Life To Live and The Young and the Restless. He has also worked on some of the industry's most high-profile and prestigious programs.
In 1986, Niles Goodsite was the Stage Manager for Pavarotti Plus!, a celebration of Luciano Pavarotti's then-silver anniversary as a performer. He was also the Stage Manager for numerous telecasts of Live From Lincoln Center, and received an Emmy Award for his work.
Live From Lincoln Center has been one of the premier programs on the Public Broadcasting System since making its debut in 1976. That first show featured performances by André Previn and Van Cliburn and was an immediate success. Live From Lincoln Center is a program that Niles Goodsite is proud to have been associated with.
In 1990, Niles Goodsite had the opportunity to be the Associate Director for an episode of 227, a TV series starring Marla Gibbs that centered on an apartment building numbered 227. He was also the First Assistant Director for a short film called Blood on the Backlot, directed by Michelle Deal. His duties included oversight of the various technical aspects of the show, and communication with the director.
When he can find time, Niles Goodsite enjoys playing tennis, and likes to play with friends up to four times a week. He is a member of the United States Tennis Association, a not-for-profit organization with more than 700,000 members that promotes the game from the amateur, grass-roots level through the professional ranks.
Niles Goodsite is also a lover of the outdoors. He enjoys going to the beach and hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area.
