With over a decade of experience in investigative journalism, the Health Ranger of Natural News has gained a reputation as an insightful whistle-blower with an ability to expose scams within the health industry. In order to conduct more extensive scientific investigation, the Health Ranger, also known as Mike Adams, recently became the director of the new Natural News Forensic Food Laboratory.

Located in Central Texas, the food investigation lab allows the Health Ranger to enjoy a greater ability to analyze and investigate different aspects of the food industry. By partnering with a local lab, the Health Ranger has gained access to high quality laboratory equipment.

The Health Ranger conducts most of the work himself as he is trained and certified to operate complex instruments such as ICP-MS, HPLC, digital microscopes. In addition, he is thoroughly trained in EPA methods for sample preparation, digestion, dilution, and quality control calibrations for ensuring that this equipment is in good working condition.

Using the lab’s high-powered digital microscope with videography capabilities, the Health Ranger and Natural News are able to investigate everyday foods on a microscopic level. The Natural News Forensic Food Laboratory has already begun to publish shocking findings. For instance, the Health Ranger found that McDonalds’ Chicken McNuggets contain strange fibers that do not seem natural.

Another high profile study was focused on fake blueberries used in processed foods. In order to observe these fake blueberries, the Health Ranger performed “dissections” of blueberry waffles and muffins. “By examining these ‘blueberries’ under our high-powered digital microscope, we were able to clearly see that these were not natural fruit,” comments the Health Ranger.

The Health Ranger has already hinted that his next exposé will focus on breakfast cereals that can be manipulated with magnets.
