Highly successful financial planner Mona Santos Ojeda is proud to announce that she has been holding numerous awards for her excellence in community theater for 18 years. Over the course of nearly two decades, Mona Santos Ojeda has been deeply committed to community theater both in Germany and in the United States.

In 1995, Mona Santos Ojeda received the award for Best Actress in the German community theater arena. She was also the recipient of a great number of awards for being part of the best in ensembles and overall best shows. Her involvement in German theater was made possible by the fact that Mona Santos Ojeda is fluent in the German language, in speaking, reading and also in writing.
Additionally, Mona Santos Ojeda is an avid musician. She plays the piano and also sings, which are both talents that have allowed Mona Santos Ojeda to continue to be a performer in the United States. Her involvement with community theater continues to this day in her own local community in her hometown in New Jersey.

For Mona Santos Ojeda, it is highly important to pursue creative endeavors outside of her work as a financial planner. “One of the best things about music is that anyone can do it,” says Mona Santos Ojeda, “and that means that I can play music and sing with my son as well.” Mona Santos Ojeda is the mother of a toddler who is now two years old, and she loves that he already wants to be a singer, “just like his mommy.”

According to Mona Santos Ojeda, you do not have to be an expert actor or actress to get involved in your local community theater. “When I got started,” says Mona Santos Ojeda, “I had not done much theater before – mostly just a little bit in school. But I knew I had a passion for performing, and so I went for it.” Mona Santos Ojeda would encourage anyone who is interested in performing to get involved, because the experience is extremely fun and also very personally rewarding. It is also a great way to be involved in your community.
