Marc Blazejowski is a former police officer from Bristol, CT. He enjoyed a career there that was remarkable and highly decorated. In November of 2003, he earned the Distinguished Service Medal. He also gained the Life Saving Award in December of 2009. Letters of commendation were received for his service for several years throughout his career, too many to mention. In short, he served the community with distinction and integrity as a patrol and traffic officer. He always had a reputation of courteousness, efficiency and professionalism in the service of the community. Not only was he a highly decorated member of this prestigious police department, he also graduated from Mitchell College in 1997 with a degree in criminal justice. Two years later, he entered the police academy and walked out an officer of the law. Blazejowski thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to work in the areas and community in which he grew up and attended school. He worked hard to keep the city safe and secure over the years.

Now retired from active duty, he is highly educated and continues his pursuit of education. He is working towards a career in social work. Marc Blazejowski is enrolled at the Central Connecticut State University in a dual program in pursuit of degrees in social work and criminology. He is on track for a December 2015 graduation. This university is well known and is the state’s oldest publicly funded university and was founded in 1849. It is a highly institution and offers graduate programs in a number of fields including literature, education, engineering technology and information technology. Blazejowski selected this school for its prominent reputation in the community and outstanding record of educational success.

He plans to continue his career of excellence and exceptionalism in his future career. As he kept watch over a city keeping it safe and secure, he envisioned a day that he could work with youth as a social worker. He brings a lot of life lessons and knowledge to this prospective career and looks ahead to the day that he can begin working with youth from the Bristol area and beyond.
