Louis Desmarteaux was born on October 3rd, 1984, and since then has been striving to achieve, impressing both peers and superiors alike. From a young age, Louis was interested in sports, something his father and mother loved to nurture. Louis's father would foster his son's talent, helping him to grow into quite the tennis player. Thanks to his parents, who Louis says guided him down the proper path, helping him focus all his youthful exuberance, Louis was able to chisel out a real profession as both an athlete and scholar.

Louis Desmarteaux has always loved learning, but he never thought he would love teaching as well, much less become an instructor himself. However, Louis has done just that, becoming a USTA certified tennis instructor, Louis has taught students of all ages, races, and socioeconomic status. Louis says that the work is extremely rewarding, and very enjoyable. Working closely with others who share the same love of tennis that he does is a dream come true, says Louis. Becoming a certified instructor, Louis now gets to do what he loves, with people who speak the same language as him. Becoming a mentor was kind of a life surprise for Louis, but he says he wouldn't change it even if he could. Louis says that he learns as much from his students as they do from him, and that every day is a new journey and learning experience.

Louis Desmarteaux became USTA certified so that he could provide a positive impact on the world of competitive tennis. The USTA is the national director of all tennis taking place in America, and the recognized leader in promoting and developing the sport's growth on every level, from local communities to the crown jewel of the professional game, the US Open. Louis uses his certification to help mentor and coach promising pupils who are well on their way to becoming star athletes. Louis was awarded certification through the highly prestigious USTA by completing a series of validation and competency tests with rigorous standards set by the USTA. Obtaining the certification is no easy task, but Louis says that it was worth it, as the certification lets potential pupils know that he is the genuine article, and will devote all of his time to helping his students grow into the athletes they wish to be.
