As a plastic surgeon who practices the full scope of plastic surgery, including aesthetic surgery, hand surgery, and reconstructive surgery, she has utilized her illustrious educational background extensively throughout her career.

Lioudmila Haimovici is widely recognized throughout both the educational and medical communities for the outstanding achievements she has made in many areas within her field.

Lioudmila Haimovici began her higher educational career at Lomonosov Moscow University, which was founded in 1755 and currently boasts more than 40,000 undergraduate students and more than 7,000 advanced degree candidates. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University, earning her degree in journalism.

After graduating from Lomonosov Moscow University, Lioudmila Haimovici enrolled at Hunter College of the City University of New York. At Hunter College of the City University of New York, she was actively involved with research projects that involved plasmid construction; RNA transcription studies; plasmid incorporation into cells by electroporation, and many other areas. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University with a bachelors degree in biology.

Lioudmila Haimovici continued her educational success at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. After obtaining her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, she started her General Surgery Residency at Nassau University Medical Center, in East Meadow, NY.

After completing her General Surgery Residency at Nassau University Medical Center, she began her Hand Surgery Fellowship at Stony Brook University Hospital, in Stony Brook, NY.

After completing her fellowship at Stony Brook University Hospital, she began her Hand / Plastic surgery fellowship at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center. After completing her fellowship at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, she began her Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at St. Barnabas Hospital.

Lioudmila Haimovici is a committed professional who is also involved in a number of volunteer and fundraising activities. She volunteered in the Dominican Republic with the Creando Sonrias Para Toda Una Vida mission, wherein she helped individuals with cleft lip and palate issues, performing reconstructive surgery on patients who otherwise could never afford those services.
