Lioudmila Haimovici Identifies the Benefits of Membership in the American College of Surgeons

Lioudmila Haimovici has been a member of the ACS since 2011, and has enjoyed the numerous professional benefits of membership in one of the best organizations in the field.

 
Cosmetic and reconstructive surgeon Lioudmila Haimovici became an official member of the American College of Surgeons in 2011. As a member of the ACS, Haimovici continues to enjoy the numerous benefits the organization provides its many members, which covers medical students, residents, fellows, affiliates and practicing surgical professionals throughout the surgical community.

As an ACS member, Lioudmila Haimovici enjoys the advocacy the organization provides on behalf of both herself and her patients on both the state and federal levels, as well as the visibility program the ACS provides in order to enhance and maintain a positive and lasting image of surgeons throughout the medical community. The American College of Surgeons continues to be many professional surgeons primary source of advocacy throughout the country, as well as one of the premiere advocacy groups for the profession as a whole.

The ACS, as Lioudmila Haimovici knows, has been a staunch advocate for surgical professionals for more than 100 years, and continues to emphasize just how integral and essential surgeons are to the continued health and success of the country’s health care system. The American College of Surgeons also provides its professional members access to a considerable amount of research data and programs that help to keep surgeons prepared and informed for changes and advances throughout the surgical community; part of the organization’s continued effort towards improved patient outcomes and the creation of better quality patient experiences.

An accomplished reconstructive and hand surgeon, Lioudmila Haimovici is always looking for advancements in technology and technique when it comes to improving results and patient experience. Haimovici is also a member of the American College of Plastic Surgeons and the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). She completed her surgical residency at the Nassau University Medical Center, received fellowship training at the Stony Brook University Hospital, and has completed fellowships at both the Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center and the St. Barnabas Hospital, respectively.
