Jon Vinikoor recently took time to sit down and talk about his career as a personal trainer and athlete. His interview touched on his personal life, career experiences, and future goals. Jon Vinikoor’s discussion gives an inside look into the mind of one of the more successful trainers in the Philadelphia area.

For over 19 years, Jon Vinikoor has been a personal trainer in the fitness industry. Jon Vinikoor has always sought to live a healthy lifestyle and found personal training to be the perfect field of work. “I’ve always been told to do something that you love. When I was a kid, my dad told me I could be anything I wanted to be when I got older. His only piece of advice was to make sure it was something I was passionate about,” Jon Vinikoor said. “I am passionate about fitness and health, so I chose to be a personal trainer. I have never regretted my choice.”

Jon Vinikoor is certified through a variety of different organizations and groups. His certifications come through the National Personal Training Institute (NPTI), ACE Personal Fitness, Bucks County Community College, and AAI Personal and Group Fitness. “Getting certified is an important part of being a personal trainer. You should only use the services of a certified trainer,” said Jon Vinikoor.

Jon Vinikoor recently opened his own business: Fitness Advantage. Jon Vinikoor started the business as a way of helping people reach their ultimate fitness potential. Jon Vinikoor offers small group training and individual sessions. He is able to help clients with nutrition plans, progress reports, and personalized workouts.

Outside of being a personal trainer, Jon Vinikoor is also a professional arm wrestler and amateur boxer. Jon Vinikoor has been involved with professional arm wrestling for the better part of two decades and is a former national champion. He recently placed 4th in the world at the World Arm Wrestling Championships in Venice, Italy. “Most people don’t even know that arm wrestling is a professional sport. I think it surprises people a little bit when I tell them that I’m a pro arm wrestler,” Jon Vinikoor said.
