John Oskorep began his professional career as a patent engineer at Motorola. Through his work at Motorola, John Oskorep discovered an interest in patent law and pursued a JD from Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago, Illinois. John Oskorep has worked with a multitude of Fortune 500 companies, including Motorola, RIM, and many others. John Oskorep also has a special passion for working with start-ups and early stage companies.

John Oskorep has worked with many global law firms that have selected him to steward patent applications originating from Europe, Japan, China and other countries. John Oskorep knows that the U.S. patent application process can be intimidating for both domestic and international inventors alike.

John Oskorep loves combining his enthusiasm for patent law and global innovation. John Oskorep has designed his new e-learning course to be accessible to both domestic and international inventors. Many inventors feel overwhelmed by the idea of beginning the application process for a U.S. patent license.

As a former patent engineer with a BS in Electrical Engineering, John Oskorep has always been fascinated by technology. In over a decade spent working as a patent attorney, John Oskorep has spent hundreds of thousands of hours speaking with inventors at various stages of invention development.

John Oskorep wanted to launch a new project that capitalized on his passions for innovation and technology. John Oskorep noted, “The technological advances in video capability and e-learning collaboration have exploded in the last decade. I wanted to package my expertise and make it available via new media channels for inventors and entrepreneurs who would benefit from some basic knowledge about the U.S. patent application process.”
