Jessica Ann Wachel celebrated her 23rd birthday this year with a party thrown by friends and family. The party was held at a friend’s house in San Marcos, Texas, where Jessica Ann Wachel attends school at Texas State University. There were more than 30 friends and family members in attendance, and everyone enjoyed the opportunity to celebrate Jessica Ann Wachel turning 23.

“My friends are the best, and I couldn’t ask for anything more,” said Jessica Ann Wachel. “And to have my family there; that was great. It all meant a lot to me,” Jessica Ann Wachel continued to say.

Because the weather was great, the party was held outside. Jessica Ann Wachel’s friend has a great back porch, which fit the occasion perfectly. Guests were all asked to bring a food item, and dinner was done potluck style. Menu items included ribs, chicken, corn on the cob, green beans, mashed potatoes, dinner rolls, salad, fruit, and more. For desert, Jessica Ann Wachel enjoyed her favorite chocolate cake.

“I really enjoyed all the food, it was great. It worked out well having everyone bring something,” Jessica Ann Wachel said. “And having my mom make my chocolate cake was special. I don’t get that all the time now that I’m away from home.”

Besides dinner, Jessica Ann Wachel enjoyed hanging out with friends, dancing, and listening to music. Some in attendance were friends Jessica Ann Wachel made while at Texas State, and others were friends she had not seen in a while.

Jessica Ann Wachel said, “I didn’t expect to see all the people there that I saw. It meant a lot that people would take time to come all the way to San Marcos just for my party. I guess you could say I’ve got great friends.”
Jessica Ann Wachel is loved by many people for her great personality and friendly demeanor. The variety of guests at her birthday party was evidence of this. Friends point to Jessica Ann Wachel’s trustworthiness, sense of humor, and honesty as her greatest attributes.

“I just try to treat people the way I want to be treated in return,” Jessica Ann Wachel said.
