Heather Rome is a natural leader with skills in operations and strategic implementation. She gained international work experience with Development Alternatives Inc. (DAI).

 
Heather Rome, formerly of Development Alternatives Inc. (DAI), has had many different professional associations within the scope of global affairs and international business. Rome has been affiliated with the Model United Nation (MUN), Rotary Club International, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Net Impact, the Society for International Development (SID) and the Project Management Institute (PMI). She is a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts of America and a recipient of the Gold Award, the highest award attainable and equivalent to the Boy Scouts of America Eagle Award.

In addition to two undergraduate degrees, Heather Rome holds a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business and completed her Master’s in Global Management from the world’s number one school of international management, Thunderbird School of Global Management. Over the course of her studies she earned membership to a number of academic honor societies including Pi Gamma Mu for Social Science, Pi Sigma Alpha for Political Science, and Mortar Board for Leadership and Academic Excellence. Honor societies such as these have been lauded and portrayed over the years as elite groups with very selective membership criteria.

Heather Rome has been recognized for her ethical leadership and served on collegiate boards of student government as well as a university board of academic appeals for professional and academic integrity.

She built her professional resume based on a number of achievements and work in challenging environments. She is a leader in international business practices and has worked for several international companies. She has worked both domestically and internationally in Latin America, Venezuela, Africa, Eastern Europe and Asia in multiple management roles. In various capacities Rome has experienced more than 30 countries and exemplifies the traits needed to rapidly adapt to changing environments.
She has experience in management, analysis, operations, financial oversight, and strategic implementation as well as public-private partnerships, government affairs, and emerging market development. She has been acknowledged for her outstanding skills in communication, organization, and multi-layered collaboration in implementing innovative solutions to complex tasks.
