Habiba Abubakar today celebrates the 9 years in which the Foundation for the Elderly and the Poor has been operational. As the Founder and Owner of the non-government organization, or, 'NGO', she is keenly aware of the many accomplishments that the organization has made since its founding in 2006.

The Foundation for the Elderly and the Poor is based in Abuja, Nigeria, which is also Habiba Abubakar's home of origin. The organization has provided essential resources to the populations of poor, elderly, and struggling individuals and their families for nearly a decade. The foundation has provided many young people with a quality education through the awarding of scholarships.

Habiba Abubakar has led a remarkable career as a property management professional and owns a number of properties in Nigeria's capital city of Abuja, as well as its northern region. She has earned her wealth independently through her successful business as a property management professional.

Highly educated, Habiba Abubakar is a graduate of the University of Science and Technology Haryana, in Haryana, India. She has lived in and visited many parts of the world, including the United Kingdom, where she studied at Edexcel before earning her professional development diploma at the educational institution in Business Management. While still in the United Kingdom, she attended the Stratford Business School, where she earned her HND in Information Technology.

She is the sole benefactor of the Foundation for the Elderly and the Poor, and thereby protects the organization from any potential corruption from corrupt contributors. An NGO that works directly with the poor, the EAP Foundation provides shelter, food, clothing and other resources to its beneficiaries – most of whom live in the city of Abuja and other areas of Nigeria.

Habiba Abubakar is proud to celebrate the 9 year anniversary of the EAP Foundation, and believes strongly that through the prayers of many supporters around the world, her organization has continued to thrive and will continue to make a positive impact upon the under-served populations that it helps for many years to come. Abubakar is a Peace Ambassador to the United Nations.
