The University of Texas at Austin McCombs Business School affords students a variety of educational and interactive opportunities. As a student at the UT business school, Gregory Mariuzza takes advantage of these opportunities, striving to make both education and active organizational involvement work towards the beginning of a successful and lengthy career.

Gregory Mariuzza became a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity shortly after enrolling at the University of Texas. The fraternity, which shares his values of academic excellence, community involvement and brotherhood, has enjoyed the devotion and commitment of Gregory Mariuzza since 2011. He has put in numerous hours and very strong effort into the organization’s campus-recruiting efforts, and has been instrumental to the event organization and fundraising that is so essential to Sigma Chi’s success.

A 3rd Year Cohort of the Business School’s Leadership Program, Gregory Mariuzza participates in activities and programs designed to enhance students’ awareness of business operation, hone leadership skills and create more active participation in the local, national and international business communities. One of a select few members of the program, Gregory Mariuzza has the chance to be involved in numerous presentations and discussions involving business trends and business leadership. His recent participation has included a 2014 Presentation focused on the topics of Demographics, Economics and Affordability, provided by Austin Demographer Ryan Robinson, as well as the Skyline Terrace and Service Project Orientation, which allowed him to learn more about the housing issues facing veterans, working families and individuals with disabilities.

Gregory Mariuzza is also involved with the University of Texas Analyst Association, which provides student members with invaluable insight into the world of finance that is delivered by professional financiers from a variety of professional fields. His involvement with the Analyst Association also afforded him the chance to participate in a Wall Street stock simulation competition, one which enhanced his understanding of the complex world of personal investing.

Gregory Mariuzza is actively involved in the University Finance Association, an organization that provides students with a high-quality forum to discuss the latest in business events, as well as their effects in various economic markets. He is active in the McCombs MIS Association, well as an effort to provide high-quality mentorship to disadvantaged children at a local elementary school.
