Frank Zaccanelli and partners intend to bring the historic Statler Hotel back to its original majestic appeal.

Frank Zaccanelli spearheads to revival of the historic Statler Hotel & Residences. It was designed and built back during the hay day of Commerce Street city block in Dallas, Texas. The historic building signaled many changes economically in the area and attracted much wealth and attention from visitor’s world-wide. Over the past few years the building fell from grace due to bad economic times. Now, Frank Zaccanelli and his partners at Centurion intend on restoring its greatness and want to give it the same high-class feel that it displayed when it opened in 1956.

Centurion American Development Group and its partners plan to have the project completed by the end of the year in 2016. Frank Zaccanelli, Fiamma CEO and partner of Centurion, is taking the lead on the project and is insuring the fluidity of the renovation.

The new owners, Conrad Hilton bought The Statler Hotel & Residences for $111 million, making it the largest real estate transaction ever done in the U.S. The $175 million project will convert The Statler Hotel & Residences
into 161 hotel rooms on the lower five floors and 219 residences on the top 11 floors. The building will also feature retail and office spaces, meeting space, four restaurants and a hotel lounge, as well as a small museum in the lobby. Dallas architect Merriman & Associates plan to keep the building’s mid-century modern charm.

Many attempts have been made to renovate the building, but have fallen through. Now with Fiamma-and Centurion American Development Group at the helm, the project is moving full sail ahead. This is just another step in the right direction for Frank Zaccanelli , who has worked actively throughout the years to revitalize the city and make it a top travel destination for shopping, vacating and to live. Hilton Worldwide Curio – A Collection by Hilton made plans to refurbish the hotel and make it part of the collection. The hotel will bring back the luxurious environment that has put Dallas, Texas on the map over the past decade.

Frank Zaccanelli is no stranger to development success. He was in charge of the America Airlines arena project as well. He took a contaminated parcel of land and changed it into the now home of the Dallas Mavericks.
