Ethan Estevez received his Master’s Degree from University of Maryland’s Mater of Arts

Ethan Estevez has always been an exemplary student. He performed very well in his primary schooling, and was accepted to McDaniel College shortly after. There, he further displayed his love for academia. He made himself known among his professors, even in his bigger lecture halls, through taking a particular interest in his studies and engaging with colleagues and instructors on ways to expand his knowledge of their subject fields.

He was in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. He did very well in his labs and was a classroom leader when it came to helping his fellow classmates. But that’s not all he did. Ethan Estevez consistently earned Dean’s List recognition at the end of the semester, and his impressive grade point average opened up an opportunity for him to join the Tri Beta Biology Honors Society.

Tri Beta, or Beta, has over 670 campuses spread out across the United States and Puerto Rico. It is a widely recognized honor society and has produced many esteemed professionals in the fields of medical and scientific research. Induction into this society was an honor for Ethan Estevez, who upheld his dedication throughout the four years, all the way up to graduation.

After receiving his Bachelor’s degree, he decided to take on a more hands on approach to education and enter the workforce. He performed well as a Compliance Specialist for an insurance company, and gained many valuable skills and connections. He then picked up a job with Paradigm Engineering on the east coast, where he became Project Manager and was in charge of a large team spread out across the Washington DC metro area as well as parts of Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland.

Ethan Estevez was much appreciative for his experience at Paradigm; however he eventually decided to get back into higher academia. He enrolled at the University of Maryland’s Mater of Arts in teaching program. There, he had a revival of enthusiasm for education and worked hard enough to get the credits he needed in less than two years. In 2013, he proudly walked across the stage, once again, to get his Master’s diploma.
