Drew Foster is an accomplished student at Providence. As a college student, Drew Foster has cultivated a reputation for himself as a student who is constantly committed to academic excellence. In fact, Drew Foster has been named to the Dean’s List on a number of occasions.

Although many in the same position as Drew Foster would be concerned only for their own academic success, Drew Foster believes that everyone should strive for the highest standards of academic excellence. This means that Drew Foster spends his spare time tutoring other students in finance.

Of his decision to become a tutor, Drew Foster had this to say:

“I am quite lucky in that I have always had a natural affinity in mathematics, especially finance. As I began my career at Providence College, I saw my fellow students struggling with some of the principles presented by our finance faculty members. That was when I realized that I could give back to the campus community.”

Drew Foster has had a number of quantifiable successes as a tutor for finance. Many students who have been tutored by Drew Foster remark that they felt that he was a clearer and more concise instructor than some of the faculty members. Even the finance faculty at Providence College recognize the remarkable impact that Drew Foster has made as a tutor within the department.

A faculty member, who wished to remain anonymous, had this to say about Drew Foster:

“Honestly, I do not believe that some of my students who were struggling would have been able to pass this class were it not for Drew Foster and his tutoring ability. Drew Foster has a natural capacity to synthesize information and share it with his peers. In that regard, Drew Foster has been a wonderful tutor.”

Drew Foster recently announced that his has every intention of continuing to tutor for finance and other similar courses in the years to come. Drew Foster recognizes that it is an incredibly powerful way for him to give back to his community and hopes that he will be able to assist many more students in the future.
