Eric Yahav has helped women get the prenatal care they need at the North Hudson Community Action Corporation (NHCAC) in Englewood since April of 2015. During that short time, Dr. Yahav has developed relationships with his patients in the community and the staffers for the highly-effective and efficient NHCAC. Dr. Yahav is proud to work for an organization dedicated to helping the most vulnerable people in the area get the healthcare they need.
Eric Yahav also works for OBGYN Associates of Tenafly. He devotes his time to these facilities so that he can help as many people get the help they need in his community as possible. Yahav wanted a direct hand in helping new generations grow and develop in northern New Jersey. He decided, after graduating from New York University with a Master’s degree in Psychology, that he actually wanted to be an Obstetrician. He enrolled in Ross University School of Medicine, a place he had never been before. Despite the isolation, Yahav completed his studies and moved back east to complete his residency at Cooper University Medical Center in Camden, New Jersey. After four years working under the supervision of a few excellent OBGYN specialists, Eric Yahav became Chief Resident and completed the residency in 2010.
Eric Yahav spent the first four years of his official medical career working for CAMcare Medical Center, a hospital associated with Cooper University. After his tenure there ended, Yahav started working for independent women’s health clinics and medical centers in northern New Jersey. He moved to Dresher, Pennsylvania and earned his medical license in Pennsylvania, too.
Eric Yahav wanted to work for the NHCAC because he had always thought of himself as a community leader. He may never run for office or start community organizations for political issues, but he has shown that he is there for people who need help. He donates regularly to charities and volunteers whenever he can.
