Dr Chad Audi is a noted career-man, working in non-profit management, mediation, and writing, though he is most passionate about his humanitarian work. Chad Audi is perhaps best known for his humanitarian work with the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries (DRMM), one of the largest non-profits in the country. He currently serves as the organization's president and CEO. Through DRMM, Dr Chad Audi works tirelessly to help the homeless, addicted, and abused of Detroit. He has set up shelters, youth service programs, substance abuse assistance and vocational services. Through his leadership, Chad Audi has also guided DRMM, a once floundering concern, into secure financial stability.

Dr Chad Audi has also organized a Super Bowl Party for the homeless. The party offered a safe place for the homeless of Detroit to come and watch the game. Chad Audi also ensured there would be plenty of food and clothing to give out to those in need, as well as available qualified medical volunteers available to give aid wherever needed. The party not only served to uplift the homeless of the community, but also to offer resources to those who attended and find to help them receive the aid they need.

Dr Chad Audi states that he stumbled on this organization mostly by accident, “I didn’t know that I was going to do this, but now I love what I’m doing, and I would never go back to doing any other type of work,” says Audi. “I felt like you can see something here you can’t see anywhere else. You can help draw a smile on someone’s face who lost it. You can give hope to people who lost their hope, so you go home feeling like you have done something... I felt like it was a real calling to do this type of work."

Chad Audi feels this is a calling from God, and that his deep Christian faith has allowed him to continue on the path of humanitarian efforts. Chad Audi is proud to call himself a practitioner of Christianity, and sees much of his work as a direct extension of his intense faith. It is through this intense faith that Chad Audi has redoubled his efforts to help the homeless of Detroit.
