Darrick Addison is an expert at designing and developing software in support of a variety of customers in the intelligence community as well as the commercial sector. He is currently the senior software engineer and consultant for his company, ASC Technologies based in Charlotte, North Carolina. In addition to having over 15 years of experience as a senior software architect and engineer, Darrick Addison understands the importance of keeping up with other software professionals through continuing education and membership in national associations.

During 1994, Darrick Addison was the President of the Southern Carolina State University’s Association for Computing Machinery. This association is one of the world's largest educational and scientific computing societies. The Association for Computing Machinery, or ACM, provides the largest digital library and supplies its members and software professionals with leading-edge publications, career resources and information about upcoming conferences and seminars. Through this organization, Darrick Addison has become one of the leading experts at speaking at technology conferences around the world.

Darrick Addison is also an active member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, also called the IEEE. This is the largest professional association and is dedicated to emerging technologies and technological innovation. They strive to better humanity through the use of technology and inspire a global community. In addition to his participation in technology seminars and workshops around the world, Darrick Addison is also currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science and Telecommunications at Northeastern University. He currently holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from South Carolina State University.
