In the late 1960s, after returning from a U.S. Army assignment in Vietnam during the war, Dale Guerrieri began writing poetry. He had experienced a lot during this time and was struggling to find meaning in life. Dale Guerrieri explains what it means to him to be a truth seeker. “Poetry has become my tool of expression in releasing emotions and feelings that had been built up in my life. Since serving in the military, I have had a lot of emotions that I needed to take the time to reflect on. This started me searching deeper for definitions, answers, direction and meaning in my life. This journey to seek out the truth has led me all over the world and has given me many answers to life's great questions.”
