Clayton Perlman is a businessman. For three decades he has worked as a real estate developer in several states across the country. He began his career in his family business, Perlman Properties. He worked as a superintendent on construction sites in order to learn the nitty gritty of property development. He learned about how a construction site operates, and the different codes and regulations that are involved in housing development.
After working as a superintendent, acquisitions was next.Clayton Perlman learned how to read the market and when to acquire new properties. His family business then moved to California where Perlman began developing single and multi-family homes. Throughout the late 1990s, he continued to develop homes in Wendover, Nevada and the Salt Lake City, Utah area.
In 1999, he switched career paths and began to work as a clerk of crude oil and natural gas futures for the New York Mercantile Exchange. This occupation was a shift from his previous real estate endeavors. He handled trade reconciliation operations for a small hedge fund. The five years he spent working for the New York Mercantile Exchange padded his experiences in economic market shifts and swings.
In 2005, Clayton Perlman moved to New Jersey to work as a real estate developer once again. When he moved to New Jersey, he was able to combine one of his passions with his business. Perlman had been an active sportsman since childhood. He enjoys boating, off-road motorcycling, and cycling. His first true love was the feeling of being on the water. Perlman opened his own marina where he could store his boat and offer boat storage and services to those who shared his passion.
Though Perlman has been an active businessman for three decades, he always finds time to pursue his personal interests. In between property acquisitions, he enjoys walking through the local parks with his dogs. After a day of hard work, he likes to come home and play his guitar while he unwinds.
