As a technical expert in nuclear safety, Chuan-Fu Wu is being praised by community members and peers for making significant contributions to charities and educational institutions. Having advanced education in science, engineering, and business, and teaching as an Adjunct Professor in several universities, Chuan-Fu Wu received motivation from his schoolmates and students’ progress to contribute to the education of others. He is diligent about supporting his favorite educational institutions. Chuan-Fu Wu donated over $55,000 to educational institutions in the year of 2012 alone.

Regarding his history of significant donations, Chuan-Fu Wu had this to say: “I love to do what I can for causes I believe in. Even though my professional life does not allow me to volunteer my time, I make sure that the programs I care about can continue running and grow.”

In addition to supporting higher education, Chuan-Fu Wu is also passionate about supporting charities, preserving the environment and funding recycling efforts. In addition to supporting church activities, he has been a long-term contributor to various charities including the Tzu Chi Foundation, an international humanitarian organization very active in protection the environment and providing charity, medicine, education, and humanistic culture aids to all people regardless of race, religion, or nationality.

When asked about his support of Tzu Chi, Chuan-Fu Wu had this to say: “I truly believe in the mission of Tzu Chi; the organization is involved in many good works and helps people live a peaceful, stable life.” Tzu Chi focuses on outreach and providing assistance where it’s needed most. Chuan-Fu Wu feels that global charity organizations like Tzu Chi represent the true meaning of compassion. In total, Chuan-Fu Wu has donated more than $50,000 to churches and charities in 2013.

As an executive professional concerned with the welfare of our planet, Chuan-Fu Wu feels that support of environmental organizations that preserve our natural habitat should be a top priority for all. Chuan-Fu Wu believes that our efforts should be focused on restoring the environment to the best of our abilities.
