Christopher Smith of South Central has worked in the educational system for 28 years. Throughout that time, Christopher Smith of South Central has held many different positions. Christopher Smith of South Central has been a coach, teacher, assistant principal, principal, and superintendent. In addition, Christopher Smith of South Central has interacted with many students and professionals, driving them toward success and enhancing their leadership skills.

When asked about his best and worst experiences in the education system, Christopher Smith of South Central had many interesting memories to share. In discussing his best professional day throughout his 28 years as an educator, Christopher Smith of South Central stated, “My best day by far is when our state testing scores come back. We always see excellent results, and it proves that the vision and mission of the district has been accomplished through hard work.”

Christopher Smith of South Central has been instrumental in developing new ways to ensure student success, certainly leading to the high test scores he has proudly received. For example, Christopher Smith of South Central has invested in major building projects to expand technology and learning while Superintendent of Schools for South Central Community Schools. In addition, Christopher Smith of South Central developed Professional Learning Communities as the Principal of Lakeland Middle School in order to align curriculum and set common assessments in the core educational subject areas.

However, Christopher Smith of South Central has also had bad days during his extensive educational career. In discussing his most difficult professional day, Christopher Smith of South Central stated, “Without a doubt, the saddest day in my career was the day I learned that three of our students were killed in an accident.” This truck and train accidents occurred during Christopher Smith of South Central’s time as Superintendent of Schools. It was a tragic day for the entire South Central community.

Throughout the ups and downs in his career, Christopher Smith of South Central has always served his students as best he could. Striving for academic success for all, Christopher Smith of South Central has made a significant impact upon the many schools and students that he has worked with.
