Charles Patrick Collier has much to celebrate in 2014. As he began his journey into the field of science in 1986, this begins his 28th year in the field.

Charles Patrick Collier graduated from Oberlin College with a degree in Chemistry back in 1991. He went on to get his PhD in Physical Chemistry in 1998, and his career has been long and illustrious. Charles Patrick Collier has over 58 publications on his name, to the point where he has to pick and choose the most relevant ones to put on his CV for different purposes.

Charles Patrick Collier has also had plenty of experience with teaching. He has been an assistant professor at the California Institute of Technology, and currently adjuncts at the University of Tennessee.

Charles Patrick Collier does not just teach, however – he is currently a part of the Research Staff at the Center for Nanophase Materials Sciences at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He has held this position since 2008.

In addition to the many publications that Charles Patrick Collier has to his name, he is a member of several professional organizations. The organizations that Charles Patrick Collier has been a part of over the last two decades include the American Chemical Society, The American Physical Society, and the Biophysical Society. Charles Patrick Collier has been a member of the American Chemical Society the longest, having joined it in 1995
