Boulter didn’t see snow until he traveled to Colorado for the first time in 2008. Boulter was already a successful skateboarder by then, winning multiple regional competitions in Florida and attracting the attention of several skate companies in the state. His agent challenged him to try snowboarding in an attempt to broaden his appeal and increase sponsorship deals. Boulter immediately fell in love with snowboarding and earned his first sponsorship in the sport when he was 21.

Chad Boulter has since focused on snowboarding, winning competitions in Colorado and even maintaining a cabin deep in the mountains from which he can access some of the best snowboarding runs in the state. Boulter still skateboards when he returns home to Jupiter, but his heart lies with the sport he first picked up at age nineteen.
