Canbet to Celebrate Twenty Years as Industry Leader

Canbet.com, now an affiliate of Yin Khing Investments, will celebrate twenty years of service in the field of online betting and micro-gaming in early 2015.

 
In early 2015, less than one year away, Canbet will celebrate two decades of outstanding customer service and industry innovation in online gaming and betting. Due largely to Canbet's successful business model as a flexible, customer-controlled betting vehicle, Canbet has been able to stay relevant and successful despite mergers, losses, and other growing pains over the last twenty years.

Canbet was established in 1995 as one of the first and leading providers of online betting and casino game services. Over the following nine years, Canbet would develop new technologies and create new policies to better themselves and the business. In 2004, Canbet was purchased in a merger with IASbet.

At that time, Canbet had no choice but to adhere to a lot of policies and procedures IAS had in place that differed from the Canbet view. Mark Read, the man who became the merged companies' managing director was optimistic about the merger. Read is quoted as stating: "The synergies and expansion goals of both companies were the driving forces behind this merger. Indeed, for five years following, Canbet worked to preserve the original goals of top-rated customer service, flexible customer access and control, and product innovation, but in 2009 it seemed that partnership with IASbet was not what either company bargained for, and they split.

Following the split from IASbet, in 2012, Canbet made a new partnership with Khing Investments, led once again by experienced industry leader Mark Read. Still thriving, Canbet leads critics to wonder how the company has endured for twenty years despite so much management turnover and tribulation.
