A successful career woman who stepped aside to raise her family, Camille Bax provides insights into the rationale behind the decision.

A lot of women in modern society are taking the choice to quit their day jobs and become stay at home moms. For one reason or another, these women feel like (for a time) their efforts are best served raising their children and their homes. It’s not an easy decision to make, but one that almost all stay at home moms say provides one of the best gifts in life.
Camille Bax is one such lady who decided to become a stay at home mom in 2004. Up until that decision, she had a good sales job at globally recognized pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline. It was a good gig, and she worked hard and smart enough to gain recognition from the company for her exemplary service. Then when the kids came along, she decided to take time off and dedicate her efforts to raising her family.
"I've been happy with my decision to become a stay at home mom," she says. "While we've moved across various states to support my loving husband's career, I've enjoyed every moment motherhood has provided me."

Camille Bax comes from a humble background. She was raised in a single parent home, with her mother working extremely hard to put herself through college and do the same for her five children. It wasn't always easy, Bax admits, but she appreciates the values and qualities learned from such a young age. In all her endeavors, she found it necessary to try her best.

Camille graduated from Oklahoma State University years later with a degree in Microbiology. The knowledge formed the foundation for her career in the field and was one of the strong suits that led to her employment by GSK. At the company, she handled the sale of medication in the fields of Urology, Diabetes, Psychiatry, and Allergy. Her work was top notch, and she received a Diamond and Emerald award in the years she worked there.

Outside of raising her family, Camille Bax loves to play recreational tennis (she's a 4.0 registered USTA player). She's also interested in helping young homeless children and has been involved in a few charitable programs.
