Austin Ragans is celebrating over ten years in the healthcare industry as a successful medical device salesman. After graduating from Charleston Southern University in 2003 with a degree in marketing, Austin Ragans began working in the healthcare industry.

From 2004 to 2011, Austin Ragans worked at the Stryker Corporation as a sales representative. During this time, Austin Ragans received several performance awards including the Homer Stryker Award and the Master Achiever Award. From 2011 to 2012, Austin Ragans was a distributor at Globus Medical in Audubon, Pennsylvania. This medical supply company focuses on spinal implant manufacturing. Austin Ragans took the knowledge and experience from these two companies and is now the president of his own company, Ragans Medical in Houston, Texas. Austin Ragans and his company, Ragans Medical, supply quality medical devices and services to medical professionals and hospitals all over the world.

When Austin Ragans was younger, he played high school football. He attributes many of his work habits to those formative years. Austin Ragans feels that playing the sport taught him the value of hard work and working within the construct of a team. He would later take that determination to Charleston Southern University, where he would begin playing football at the college level. The determination that he put towards the game translated to the classroom. Austin Ragans worked just as hard in his classes as he did on the football field. After years of hard work and concentration, Austin Ragans earned his B.B.A. in Marketing.

The combination of his education at Charleston Southern University and the skills he acquired while playing football and working in the medical field have prepared Austin Ragans for success in the medical device industry. Currently, Austin Ragans lives in Houston, Texas and is the president of Ragans Medical. He also continues to be a distributor for Biomet Microfixation. In the healthcare industry Austin Ragan is known internationally for providing quality devices and services to his clients. Because of his commitment to quality and his in depth knowledge of the medical industry, Austin Ragan has been successful in the medical device sales field for the last ten years.
