He received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Adelphi University located in Garden City, New York in 1976 before moving on to medical school at Columbia University in 1978.remove He also trained at the University of Rome School of Medicine and Surgery before beginning his residency.

Arnaldo Trabucco, MD’s first residency was in general surgery at the Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He gained an immense amount of experience as a first year resident in general surgery. He then moved on to complete his second residency again in general surgery at St. Mary’s Hospital, a Yale affiliate located in Waterbury, Connecticut. It was after his second year residency that he was accepted into the urological surgery training program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He became the Chief Resident in 1987.

Arnaldo Trabucco, MD is an expert in the field or urologic surgery. He is vastly experienced in percutaneous nephrostomy, nephrolithotripsy, and many aspects of urologic oncology. He has performed urethral reconstructions, stress urinary incontinence procedures, and urogynecology as well as transurethral resection of the prostate.

Arnaldo Trabucco, MD has practiced urology all across the United States, and when he was finished with his surgical training, he established his own clinical practice in New York City in 1987. He practiced all forms of general urology that his training provided him with the knowledge to perform.

He is the inventor of the Trabucco Double Balloon: Urethral Catheter, which is used in conjunction with extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy. It is used as a form of treatment for urethral stones and has a 95 percent success rate.

His certifications, including his board certification, are as a Fellow of the American College of International Physicians, a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
