As a responsible citizen who enjoys being a part of the political process, Aldo Salinas’s undergraduate focus was Political Science with additional interest in history, economics, and business.

Regarding the completion of his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Aldo Salinas had this to say: “Completing my bachelor’s degree has been a lifelong goal and I’m proud of my accomplishments.” During his undergraduate career, Aldo Salinas earned the distinction of being on the Dean’s List and Dean’s Honor Roll. Additionally, Aldo Salinas was the honored recipient of the Kenneth L. Maddy Institute’s Maddy Legislative Scholar Internship.

Aldo Salinas believes that the combination of his undergraduate education and the completion of the Maddy Legislative Scholar Internship provide him with an outstanding foundation on which to build a successful professional career. Additionally, Aldo Salinas gained increased appreciation of the political process and the roles of state and local government during his internship. Aldo Salinas’s internship provided him with the opportunity to increase his business and leadership skills while participating in community events.

Since childhood, Aldo Salinas has demonstrated interest in government, politics, economics, and business. As an individual strongly tied to his community, Aldo Salinas believes that community involvement is the responsibility of every citizen. In addition to community involvement, Aldo Salinas values friends and family and knows the importance of spending quality time with loved ones. As an environmentally conscious individual, Aldo Salinas enjoys staying informed about public policy that impacts the environment.

Prior to completion of his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Aldo Salinas received a scholarship and formal recognition from the Kenneth L. Maddy Institute. Aldo Salinas is honored to be a part of California State University’s alumni population and feels that his education significantly enriched his life. Aldo Salinas hopes to pursue his master’s degree at the university’s Sacramento campus in the future.
