After obtaining a full-time position a the software consultant and middleware administrator, Adhiraj Chintakrindi made it his personal mission to contribute personal funds to various charities. Adhiraj Chintakrindi always finds charities that are near and dear to his heart and finds a way to contribute. Most recently, Adhiraj Chintakrindi donated funds to the Akshaya Trust. This nonprofit organization has the mission to “help the helpless.” Since the goal of Akshaya Trust is to serve the less fortunate parts of Madurai, India, it hit close to home for Adhiraj Chintakrindi. Adhiraj Chintakrindi believes it is easy to get involved, he stated, “I think getting involved in a charity is something everyone should do. It leads to a type of personal growth that only serving can provide you with. I believe that serving helps build character, a strong work ethic, and the ability to have compassion for others. I know we live in a time where finances are tight, but it is not just about money. I hope individuals look for other ways to offer assistance to nonprofits if they do not have the resources. It is so easy. Organizations always need help from volunteers. If serving isn’t your thing, I always tell people to omit their morning coffee and give that money to an organization after a week. There are so many options available, it is just crucial that you find one that works best for you. Together, we have the ability to make a huge impact.”

Adhiraj Chintakrindi aspires to be a positive example for others in his local community. He hopes through his stories that more people will be encouraged to serve. “I want to be the spokesperson for good causes,” Adhiraj Chintakrindi stated, “I want to continue to help transform the lives of the less fortunate. I hope that people can see that no contribution is too small.
