After completing his university education, and completing his bachelors, he took up a job for about a year. Also he began studying for the MCAT. 2) Radiation Therapy – This involves the use of ionizing radiation to treat the malignant cancer cells. It works by damaging the DNA or tissue of these cells which kills their ability to divide at an exponential rate.

3) Immunotherapy - This is a therapy that is used to get the immune system to reject the tumour producing cells. It involves the use of cytokines.

4) Hormone Therapy - Hormone therapy as a cancer treatment may involve taking medications that interfere with the activity of the hormone or stop the production of the hormones.
