Performance-Based Commissions to Net You The Highest Prices For Your Property.

Fitzmaurice Property Group, Headquartered in Sydney is pleased to announce that their investment business is expanding to include real estate services. Owner Steve Fitzmaurice has been buying, improving and selling homes since 2000 and is now a qualified real estate agent buying and selling properties in Sydney.

Fitzmaurice Property Group is unique in that the agents have experience with both sides of the real estate sales transaction and that gives them an advantage over real estate agents in general that have not bought and improved properties on their own. Company agents know what adds value, inexpensive ways to increase the value of your home and any areas that could be a potential problem.

The Fitzmaurice Property group staff employs an independent valuation expert with significant experience in the real estate market and that experience is key to providing the most accurate property valuations. In-depth knowledge of the market including house condition, amenities, planned developments, what areas are hot, which are not, what is popular and what is out of style are considered to provide you with an accurate, realistic valuation of your property.

Fitzmaurice property group offers a special incentive to sellers and buyers. Most real estate firms charge a set commission that does not reflect the performance of an agent. Fitzmaurice uses a performance-based scaled commission model to encourage agents to sell your property at the highest price possible. Instead of charging a flat rate of 2.2 or 2.3% our agents start at a 1.3% commission on the valuation of your home. For every $50,000 an agent gains over the home valuation they receive an additional .1%.

How does this really work? If your home is worth $1,00,000 and was sold for that amount an agent would receive $22,000 on a 2.2% flat commission. If the house sold for $900,000 the seller loses $100,000 but the agent only loses $2,200. With the Fitzmaurice commission structure the commission begins at 1.3% of the home’s valuation. The low commission rate protects the seller against underselling of the property for a quick sale. For every $50,000 an agent gains above the valuation in the sales price the commission is raised by .1%. In the Fitzmaurice commission structure the seller gains and additional $47,500 for every $50,000 increase in the sales price over the valuation price and the agent gains $2,500. This system provides an incentive for the agent to work hard on your behalf and everyone comes out a winner.
