In 1991, Dr. Laitman established the Bnei Barunch Group, which is a group of students that is dedicated to studying Kabbalah and researching its wisdom, and figuring out how to apply its lessons to life on a daily basis for the betterment of all humanity. In essence, the study of Kabbalah in its purest form is the search for the answer to the ultimate question that question being, why are we here would humanity's purpose. In 1996 Laitman launched kabbalahinfo.com, and shortly thereafter, Encyclopedia Britannica declared it the world's largest Kabbalah information website due to the sheer volume of information available.

Dr. Laitman has dedicated his entire life to answering this question trying to find the reason that life is worth living, while at the same time trying to make the existence of humanity as worthwhile as possible by sharing his thirst for knowledge with the world. He is a member of the World Wisdom Council which is a think tank of like-minded individuals whose thirst for knowledge. Also, his books have been on the New York Times bestseller list for multiple weeks and the wisdom contained within their pages is often advanced.
