Body Mind Spirit Intensive Outpatient Program Provides Unique Approach To Recovery

 
San Clemente, CA, January 22, 2015 /PressReleasePing/ - Body Mind Spirit Intensive Outpatient Program is a new, high-quality and affordable wellness program and treatment facility located in San Clemente, California. The wellness program specializes in recovery treatment for alcohol and substance abuse in addition to addiction of gambling, sex, food and other compulsive behaviors. The program also specializes in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, PSTD and other psychological disorders. Co-Founders and Co-Clinical Directors, Dr. Martin and Dr. Zavala, began Body Mind Spirit Intensive Outpatient Program to provide a comprehensive wellness approach to recovery that focuses on understanding and healing the physical, mental and spiritual imbalances in an individual’s life so that person can plan for today and for their future.

Dr. Martin and Dr. Zavala have over 50 years of combined experience in private practice in addition to a vast array of knowledge, certifications, and trainings within the psychology field. The mission of Body Mind Spirit Intensive Outpatient Program is to provide a program that offers an alternative approach for recovery treatment that concentrates on healing the whole person - body, mind and spirit – through the incorporation of evidence based methodologies, wellness therapies, and community involvement.

The program includes a variety of individual services and group sessions in addition to activities including yoga, massage, hiking, mindfulness training, and community volunteering. Group sessions include psycho-education, neuropsychology, as well life skills and education including goal setting, vocational coaching, and nutritional guidance. Life planning is offered throughout the program as well as once an individual graduates to encourage self-development and follow-through.

"In opening Body Mind Spirit Intensive Outpatient Program we had a vision to create a safe place, where participants can learn how to create the life and relationships they want and deserve," says Dr. Martin, co-founder and co-clinical director of Body Mind Spirit Intensive Outpatient Program.

Body Mind Spirit treatment center is­­­­ located at 2411 S. El Camino Real, in San Clemente, California. Sessions are offered three times a day, five days a week and one session on Saturday. Each session is three hours long and lengths of stay in the program vary from four weeks to twelve weeks depending on an individual’s recovery path. Weekly support groups focusing on adolescents, substance abuse, and women in transition are also offered at the facility and are open to the public. Support groups are free with a suggested donation.
