The updated version adds the ability to recover Ext2/3/4 partitions, and can recover information from exFAT, HFS (HFS, HFS+), ReiserFS, Reiser4, and UFS2 file systems in addition to previously supported FAT and NTFS.

RAID, LDM and Storage Spaces Support
The new version of Disk Recovery Wizard adds the ability to recover information from all types or RAID arrays, and supports Microsoft’s storage virtualization technologies such as LDM (Logical Disk Manager) and Storage Spaces. By supporting storage virtualization technologies, Disk Recovery Wizard can now successfully recover information from heterogeneous storage systems and volumes spanned over multiple media of different sizes, performance or technology.

UNIX and MacOS X File Systems Supported
While Disk Recovery Wizard can only be launched in Windows, the latest version of the company’s most powerful data recovery tool adds the ability to recover information stored on disk volumes formatted in different versions of UNIX such as Linux and FreeBSD, as well as MacOS X. Support for Linux Ext2/3/4 partitions is now fully integrated into the product, while volumes formatted with exFAT, HFS (HFS, HFS+), ReiserFS, Reiser4, and UFS2 file systems can be recovered in Reader and Uneraser modes (requiring that the volumes do still appear in the Logical Volume Manager or partition tables).
