Los Angeles, CA : Kelly Lauren Baugher and Justin Michael Murdock formally met through a past film Producer friend at a 2009 Thanksgiving party thrown at Katana in Los Angeles before he was charged for sexual harassment by director of corporate development of Castle & Cooke and NovaRx. As a result, she suffered defamation from media outlets such as Courthouse News and Page Six. However, during the duration of the time specified in the Lawsuit they had a loving off and on relationship.

"Justin sat next to me after people started arriving to the Thanksgiving party and I immediately noticed he had a great sense of style. I complimented him on his gold ring and later on he got my number from a film producer friend at the time because I left the party early and didn’t go to the after party he had at his Bel Air house,” said Kelly Baugher. "We had our first official date on the last night of November and began a relationship in December.”

In October of 2009, Murdock was rumored to have been in a relationship with singer Avril Lavigne after she announced her split on September 17, 2009 from husband Deryk Whibley, Canadian musician and producer who is best known as a member of the band SUM 41. Prior, Murdock had been linked to American businesswoman and former model Ivanka Trump and Hilton & Hyland associate Allison Gianni who was also a former model and actress. In 2010, Baugher had an intermittent relationship with Weezer’s rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist, Brian Bell, which began after meeting at a party in May of that year. Prior, she dated businessman Jamie Mazur in 2007 before he finally settled down to have children with Victoria’s Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio.

"Justin is so sweet. He went as far as designating the right side of the bed mine and letting me know how close his house was to UCLA where I was trying to complete a screenwriting certificate program to help me finish writing my screenplay, The Fledglings, and work on my writing skills,” said Baugher. "I used to write him songs when we first started dating and still do. My first song was called Heaven Head.”

Murdock continues to serve as Chairman of the Board and CEO at NovaRx and Senior Vice President at Castle & Cooke while Baugher pursues her entertainment career in Los Angeles.
