Mr. Prabodh Mehta, a well known trustee and a prestigious merchant of diamonds was born in 1936 in the family of Late Shri Kirtilal Mehta who was known for his philanthropist segments and the founder of Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. Prabodh Mehta along side of his schooling education; he also managed to garb the diamond education from his father who was fondly known as Bapaji and pioneered to take his diamond business from India to Belgium.

In the age of just 16 he started assisting his father in his diamond business. In the year of 1953 when he was 17 had left India for Belgium in order to raise his father’s business through a prestigious company of Gembel European Sales NV of Belgium. In 1956 has launched his company of diamond named Gembel in Belgium which today has successfully registered his positive image in the world while offering pure and magnificent series of different diamonds.

Besides these; Prabodh Kirtilal Mehta is well known for his philanthropists while joining the team of trustee of Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai in the year of 1988. Mr. Prabodh Mehta has played a vital role in reflecting his father’s vision to serve the society with best medication system at affordable charges.
