Our friends at Feel Good Contacts recently published an infographic that addresses the important issue that is road safety in the UK.
Although the UK has one of the lowest recorded cases of road accidents per capita in the world, it is still an issue that needs to be addressed. Almost 200,000 road accidents occur each year. Of which, 1700+ are fatal. This may be a decrease of 2% from the previous year but at the end of the day, no losses are acceptable.
The thing is, most of these road accidents can be avoided simply by being cautious and more aware of your surroundings on the road. As stated in their infographic, the top contributing factors to road accidents (accounting to over half of all incidents) are related to human error.
To think that by simply being more careful while on the road, we could all be making our roads a safer place. This is why I urge you to take the necessary precautions and be more aware when you're on the road.
