Do you need to find an online store? What is the first thing you normally do?
You go to Google, or Yahoo or any search site, and click on an online shopping store and a whole stack of results appears. Most people do not look beyond the first page because they assume that the first result is "the best result". it's just not true!
What??? Well ... a little-known fact is that often - the best online shopping stores are not the first - they could be anywhere in the 10,107,000 results that come up. You see - most online stores appear on the first page of search engines using a technique called "Search Engine Optimization (SEO)" - where they do a number of things (eg get links from other websites, use a certain keyword several times throughout the website etc.).
So ... what should you do to find great online stores and fantastic deals that no one else knows about?
Well, I would suggest two things:
1) Browse a directory dedicated to online shopping - especially one that deals with what you are looking for. (So, you can search the "directory of wholesale online stores"), then browse the directories that appear (you really optimize the results of your search). The same rule applies, however - you don't need to look at the first directory that appears to find the best one (follow step 2 to find good "strangers").
2) Instead of clicking on the first page of a search engine (or even the purchase directory) - go to page 3, then page 15, then page 30 ... - most people won't even think about digging that deep into Google - so right away - you have an advantage - you're going to find products that people don't even know about (and remember - these products are not worse - websites have simply not been optimized to appear on the first page of the search engines).
Not only do I preach this - I also practice this method. To find stores, I always go to the middle of the search engines and work ahead - the stores are easily as good (if not better).
If I look in an online shopping directory, I always go to the back of the directory and progress.
As the owner of a directory, I can 100% guarantee that the lists at the end of the directory are viewed about 95% less than the first pages - which means that you are going to find deals that most people don't even know. know - because they cannot be disturbed by browsing the entire directory - that they have already found something that interests them in the first two pages.
So ... if you're a distributor, retailer or consumer looking to get your hands on a great product - use online shopping directories and search.
