Birla A1, a part of Orient Cement Limited, a cement company which felicitated bodybuilder Gopu Srinivas today for making the country proud by winning two bronze medals in recent international events.
Hailing from Gopalwada of Mancherial, Gopu Srinivas made the district proud by bagging bronze medal in the 51st Asian Body Building Championship in the Junior Men's Body Building 70kg category all odds. The championship was held in Seoul, South Korea from August 20 to 26 . He also went on to represent India and bagged another bronze medal in the 9th WBPF World Body Building and Physique Sport Championship in the Junior Men's Body Building 70kg category. This championship was held in Mangolia from October 3 to 9. He returned to his district to a grand welcome by proud locals and representatives.
