[New York, January 27, 2016] – The National Kidney Foundation, the leading U.S. organization dedicated to the awareness, prevention, and treatment of kidney disease, helps improve lives with the help of their Kidney Cars program. This aims to collect vehicle donations from anybody in the U.S. The proceeds will go to the life-saving services provided for kidney patients and those who are at risk of kidney-related conditions.

The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) Kidney Cars program doesn’t only accept vehicles—cars, trucks, and vans—but also boats, motorcycles and motor cross bikes, personal water craft, power sports equipment, and farm and construction equipment. It doesn’t matter if the vehicle is working or not.
In addition, those who donate will receive tax deduction from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The amount depends on the sale price of the vehicle.
The Donation Procedures
Those who are planning to donate may call (from Monday to Friday at 8 A.M. to 8 P.M.) or visit their site to talk to one of NKF’s car donation experts. They help with title and tax issues to make the process easier. After making a call, they can pick up donations within 24 hours and will send proof of donation (for tax purposes) after two weeks.
“Let your used vehicle join the thousands of others that have gone green for a good cause. A sputtering vehicle may actually revive the health of thousands suffering from kidney disease while helping save the planet at the same time,” says Senior Vice President Paul Irwin-Dudek.
