November 1, 2016 | Mumbai, India: World-renowned plastic surgeon, Dr Debraj Shome, was invited as faculty to the 36th Annual Conference of Maharashtra Ophthalmological Society (MOSCON 2016) held from 14th to 16th October. The event was held at the CIDCO Exhibition Centre in Vashi, Navi Mumbai.

Dr. Shome graced the occasion and delivered lectures on topics such as Telecanthus and Naso-ethmoidal fracture repair using trans-nasal wiring. He also talked about the methods to effectively deal with under eye tunnels, valleys and mountains. Attaining eye symmetry, LPS extirpation for congenital ptosis, and strengthening orbital floor fractures were a few other topics on which Dr. Shome talked at length in MOSCON 2016. He also chaired the Oculoplasty Session on ‘Expanding Indications in Aesthetic Oculo Facial Plastic Surgery & Oculo Facial Trauma’.

The esteemed doctor is one of the leading experts in plastic surgery in the country and has worked on various plastic surgery sub-specialities over the years. He has successfully performed various oculoplasty, rhinoplasty, facelifts, and non-surgical and surgical face rejuvenation, among others, on his patients.
