Seeking Fit body, then Physical Activity is Unavoidable and Non-Optional –Dr. Kanika Chauhan

Dr. Kanika Chauhan says that if anyone who need fit body then you have to do physical activities too with out it you cannot imagine that you are fit. She also says that physical fitness is unavoidable and non-optional.

 
Are you exercising smart?

Gadget savvy modern society gets daily count of the steps they walked or calorie they burnt, on the top of this many do not take lift but stairs in order to burn some extra calories but still, we struggle with weight and well being issues. What’s wrong? Is the information regarding active life faulty or something is missing?
The question is valid and burning. Being physically active through- out the day is a good habit which gives great results throughout life time but this only is not enough to be slim or fit, why? I would again throw the same question, are you exercising smart? Or let me re frame the question for a better understanding. Are you utilizing your energy and time effectively?

When you walk those stairs leaving the lift or walk around throughout the day, you are active but most of the time under stress. Stress of work, life, financial growth, family and so on. All these stress facilitate release of chemicals which are meant to conserve our energy and lead to water retention. They also disturb our sugar metabolism. As a consequence this kind of active lifestyle under stress, ‘alone’ fails to bear great fruits in reciprocation to our efforts.

In order to make an active lifestyle even more fruitful, dedicate at least 1 hr per day, 5 to 6 days / week to a committed workout regime of your choice so that it provides you a combo of hard-work mixed with pleasure. Such an activity time would promise the long desired kick start to your dream body/fitness levels by releasing constructive and happy chemicals in your body, which relieves your stress levels gives you positivity in life and makes you fit and healthy in true sense. You can indulge in activities like running, sports, swimming, weight training, calisthenics, dancing or Matt based programs with in privacy of your home. Only requirement is, you must target to keep your heart rate double your baseline rate or >120 bpm at least in order to achieve fitness and results. During this activity period try to put your mobile at silent mode and listen to encouraging music of your choice which is effective enough to get your catecholaminessecreation stimulated. Also wear something which is stretchable, sweat absorbing and not loose on you. Your shoes must be appropriate for the activity whether done at home or outside. Last but not the least, the in between breaks must be brief say 20 to 30 seconds only, just enough to stabilize your breathing and allow you sips of water as being hydrated keeps cramps at bay. Heart rate must not be allowed to drop to baseline until the exercise is completed.

If you apply these smart tips to your active lifestyle along with homemade nutritious and balanced food and 7 to 8 hours sleep per day, you would see a transformation in your looks and fitness levels for sure.
